Real Estate tax payments were due on March 10th. Payments can still be made but MUST be made by either our website, mail or in-person at our office. Local banks will not accept late payments.

2024 tax bills have been printed and mailed out. The due date for real estate tax bills is March 10th, 2025.
Payment can be made on this website in our payment portal. Payment can also be made using the “QR” code on the bill itself.
The following area financial institutions will also accept your full half-year payment at their Athens County branches only, if you have your bill with you:

We accept payments in-person at the office from 8am-4pm weekdays, excluding holidays.
2024 bill data is now available on our site and the payment portal is open. The actual bill images will not be available until the end of January.
