The Athens County Treasurer’s Office will be closing at 3pm on Friday August 29th.
If you wish to bring in a payment to the office, please do so before that time.

The 2nd Half Due Date Has Passed
Both Real Estate and Mobile Home 2nd half taxes were due on August 4th. Payments are still being accepted but penalties will apply.
Our online portal must remain off until the County Auditor has finished the tax settlement, approximately 2-3 weeks from now. Payments can be made by mail to: 15 S. Court Street, Athens, OH 45701 or in-person at our 3rd floor office.
